Important collection of news from various periodicals, noting the intensification of relations between Portugal and Brazil, presided at the time by António José Almeida and Epitácio Pessoa, respectively.
The newspaper O Dia, titled: A Historical Moment of Great Significance, refers to this visit: "The arrival of the illustrious President António José de Almeida to this city is an event that fills with deep joy the heart of all Brazilians . The eminent Head of the Portuguese Nation, who, on the occasion of celebrating our first anniversary, wanted to bring us personally the greetings of the glorious sister Republic, gave a special highlight to the expressions of sympathy of his people.
In Jornal do Brasil, we can read: "Today, Rio will receive the honorable visit of Mr. António José de Almeida, President of the Portuguese Republic. This fact is endowed with immense political significance and is worth the most eloquent proof of admiration and affection which the glorious friendly nation could give us.
In the preface that precedes the collection, President António José Almeida, thanks the warm welcome to the Brazilian people and the Portuguese colony that "(...) He had recently shown his inexhaustible and permanent affection for the country`s cause, dispensing a magnificent welcome to the two glorious aviators, Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral, who were there as messengers of the old heroic traditions of the Race. (...) "

Exemplary with solid half-French binding, with gold irons in the binders and spine. Preserves the brochure cover with slight peaks of acidity, kernels in good condition.
